The Five Points of Power represent SEIU Arizona's approach to building a strong organization and winning improvements for public service employees and the residents we serve.
The Five Points of Power are:
United Membership - The united we are, the stronger we are when working with elected officials, the community and in discussions with our employer.
Value Added - We seek to produce positive changes for our members and our community by focusing on ways we can make government more accountable and reliable. SEIU Arizona members do this through a process called IQ (Innovation and Quality).
Community Involvement - Give back to our community and develop relationships with our community allies to build public support for our goals.
Political Relationships - Build and maintain good relationships with city, county and state political leaders who support the goals of SEIU Arizona members.
Market Density - Organize public employees in other cities to improve wages, benefits and working conditions in Arizona.
